The Domaine du Mont-d'Or is an exceptional vineyard on the marvellous site of the Montorge hill at the entrance to Sion. In the middle of the last century, the Domaine du Mont d'Or planted 220 terraces with vines, covering 20 hectares, with each terrace containing a variety specially chosen to match its altitude and exposure. Its exceptional exposure, the mix of varieties with a large majority of Johannisberg, the structure in terraces and the limitless devotion of the viticulturists enable the Mont d'Or to produce internationally renowned liqueur-like wines.
