HISTORY
1915 Sète

During the First World War, the first branch abroad was founded in Sète, in the South of France. With important wine storehouses and 100 rail tankers, the Etablissements SCHENK S.A. in SÈTE could store the wines coming from Algeria (on boats called "pinardiers” (wine tankers)) while waiting for their distribution in France or their routing to Switzerland.
