Impelled by a strong desire to become a grape grower itself, the Schenk Company acquire several estates in Switzerland since 1919 on the “Côte” such as the Domaine du Martheray in Féchy, the Domaine d’Autecour and the Château de Châtagneréaz in Mont-Sur-Rolle, then the Château de Vinzel. This new activity was then supplemented by other vineyards located on the Côte as well as in Lavaux, Chablais and Valais.
